Starting with AWS App Stream 2

Recently, I explored aws app stream 2.0 service. I would like to share simple steps to getting started easily:

1. Log on to AWS account

2. Go to Services

3. Go to ‘AppStream 2.0’ service under ‘DeskTop & App Streaming’ section

5. build an custom image using image builder

6. in order to enable internet access on the image :

   a) If you do not have your own the aws region create your own VPC.

   b) Associate elastic IP(create if you do not have one with vpc

   c) have public and private subnets for vpc

   d) while configuring image associate VPC and private VPC subnet to image  will give the internet access.

7. install required software on image / exe .. (in my case jdk was also required)

8. after image is built.. it will be snapshotted and will be available as private image in images registry

9. Create a fleet as per requirement .. i.e. specify number of users

10. Create stack and associate fleet with stack

11. get stream url from the stack created

12. open the url.. you would be able to use streamed application on AWS appStream 2.0

  1. Hey! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!|

  2. Right here is the right webpage for anyone who would like to find out about this topic. You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a new spin on a subject which has been written about for a long time. Excellent stuff, just excellent!|

  3. I believe what you posted made a great deal of sense.
However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I mean, I don’t wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose
you added something that makes people desire more?
I mean Starting with AWS App Stream 2 – ILLUSIVE PERCEPTIONS
is kinda vanilla. You ought to look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they write article headlines to
get viewers interested. You might add a related video or a related picture
or two to get people excited about what you’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
